Introduction to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (3 CEs)
Learn about how Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) can help you and your clients while earning 3 Category II CEUs.
This workshop is designed to give participants a strong foundation in ACT theory and practice. This workshop is the first of two and can be done independently or as part of the two-part series.
In this workshop, participants learn to assess psychological problems using the ACT model, identify and address experiential avoidance, and use the ACT model to help differentiate between ineffective and meaningful actions in our clients. Experiential exercises, small group work, and role play are used to support participants as they practice and enhance new skills.
